About the Treatment
Everything to know about laser hair removal.
Our laser hair removal is powered by Cervello — a medical-grade laser that matches its light and pulse precisely to your follicle's size, depth, and location, disabling hairs in their active growth cycle while an advanced cooling system keeps your skin comfortable throughout.
The result is smooth skin without the endless cycle of razors, wax appointments, and ingrown hairs. Every series begins with a consultation with our medical team, where we review your skin, hair type, and health history to build a treatment plan that's safe and effective for you.

What to Expect
Results, honestly.
Results build with every session as the laser catches each hair cycle — treated hairs shed within 1–2 weeks of each visit, and skin gets progressively smoother through your series. Most areas reach their goal in 6 treatments (up to 12 for some hair and skin types), and from there it's permanent reduction with only occasional maintenance.
Good to Know
Questions, answered.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
It's virtually painless, especially compared to waxing. Each pulse lasts less than a second and feels like a slight tingle — sensitive areas like the upper lip can feel like a quick rubber-band snap. Our Cervello system pairs with an advanced cooling device that minimizes any heat sensation.
How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only disables follicles in their active cycle — so most areas take a series of 6 treatments, and some need up to 12 depending on hair type and skin tone. Once you reach your goal, occasional maintenance keeps it that way.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Shave the area the night before, and don't wax, pluck, or thread for 4 weeks beforehand — the laser needs pigment in the follicle to work. Avoid direct sun for 4 weeks, skip lotions and oils on the area for 24 hours, remove any fake tan, and wear loose comfortable clothing.
What happens after a treatment?
Some redness or mild swelling is normal and fades within a few hours to a couple of days. Treated hairs shed over the following 1–2 weeks — it looks like regrowth, but it's the follicle pushing the hair out. Use SPF 30+, avoid sun for 2 weeks, and hold off on the gym, saunas, and hot tubs until any red bumps settle.
Can I come during my period?
Yes — and for Brazilian treatments we just ask that you wear a tampon or menstrual cup. Birth control, including the pill and IUDs, is also completely fine.
Can I get laser hair removal while pregnant?
Not during the first trimester. In the second or third trimester, we ask for medical clearance from your provider first.
Can you treat over tattoos?
No — lasers and tattoo ink don't mix. We treat around tattoos, keeping a safe margin of about an inch.
Why choose Remedy for laser?
Every treatment here is performed under medical oversight with a full consultation first — skin type, health history, and medications are all reviewed so your series is safe and effective for your skin.
