About the Treatment

Everything to know about neurotoxin.

Neurotoxin injections are the gold standard for softening lines and wrinkles. They work by relaxing the small facial muscles that crease the skin every time you smile, squint, or frown — smoothing the lines they leave behind and slowing new ones from forming.

At Remedy we carry all three leading formulas: Botox, the most widely known; Dysport, fast-acting and natural-looking; and Xeomin, a uniquely purified formula with no unnecessary proteins. Your injector will help you choose the right one for your face and your goals.

Every treatment is mapped and administered by our experienced medical team, so your expressions stay yours — just smoother.

What to Expect

Results, honestly.

Session TimeAbout 20 min
Results Visible2–5 days

Most guests see smoothing within 2–5 days, with full effect at about two weeks. Results typically last 3–4 months with Botox and up to 5 months with Dysport — and with regular treatments, many guests find they need less product, less often.
Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How does it work?
It blocks the nerve signals that tell treated muscles to contract, so they relax and stop creasing the skin. The effect is temporary and wears off gradually over several months.
Is it safe?
Yes — botulinum toxin has been used cosmetically for decades and is FDA approved. At Remedy, every injection is administered by a trained medical professional.
Does it hurt?
A fine needle and tiny amounts of product mean most guests feel only mild, brief discomfort. It's done in minutes with no numbing needed.
What's the difference between Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?
All three relax the muscles that cause wrinkles. Dysport tends to show results fastest, Xeomin is uniquely purified with no extra proteins, and Botox is the most widely known. We'll help you pick the right one at your visit.
Is there any downtime?
You can return to your day right away. Just skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours and avoid rubbing or pressure on the treated area for about 12 hours.
Am I too young to start?
No — many guests start in their 20s. Starting earlier can slow lines from forming, and often means less product, spaced further apart, as you age.
How often will I need treatments?
Plan on every 3–4 months at first. Over time, treated muscles learn to contract less, and many guests can go longer between visits.
